🟩 East West Line (EWL)
The East West Line is one of Singapore’s oldest and longest MRT lines, stretching from Tuas Link in the west to Pasir Ris and Changi Airport in the east. It connects key residential, business, and industrial zones, and is heavily used for cross-island travel.
🔴 North South Line (NSL)
The North South Line runs from Marina South Pier in the south to Kranji, Yishun, and Woodlands in the north. As Singapore’s first MRT line, it links major downtown areas with northern heartlands.
🟠Circle Line (CCL)
The Circle Line forms a semi-loop around the central part of Singapore, connecting residential towns, business parks, and major interchanges without passing through the city center. It improves east-west and north-south connectivity.
🔵 Downtown Line (DTL)
The Downtown Line is a fully underground, automated line that runs diagonally from Bukit Panjang in the northwest to Expo in the east. It serves key educational, shopping, and cultural districts while offering a direct alternative to older lines.
🟣 North East Line (NEL)
The North East Line connects HarbourFront to Punggol, serving a mix of heritage districts like Chinatown and Little India as well as modern neighborhoods. It was the first fully driverless heavy rail system in the world.
🟤 Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL)
The Thomson-East Coast Line is Singapore’s newest MRT line, connecting the north, city center, and eastern coast. With future links to Changi Airport and Johor Bahru, it’s designed for long-term connectivity and smart commuting.
